The Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation
The Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation is dedicated to helping parents and children deal with brain tumors
by making available information on diagnosis, treatment, affects, and sharing the experiences of others. Their
web site was well-organized, but had reach a critical mass where there was too much information to organize
efficiently. The sole volunteer who had the skills to maintain the site was overwhelmed with the backlog of
information to be posted. Elvan Business Technologies built and deployed a content management system (CMS)
usng Open Source solutions to provide a publishing platform which allows any of the CBTF staff who can use a
browser to post and maintain content. In addition, the new site introduced new capabilities they were unable
to deploy before, such as customized contact forms, and event calendar, and newsfeeds.

Brooks Performance / G-Force Design Concepts
Brooks Performance started as a hobby business designing and installing custom
high-performance suspension systems. Brooks' former web site was designed by a friend of
the owner using Microsoft Word. The site, though complete, was lacking in features,
slow to load, difficult to navigate, and a chore to maintain. Potential customers
were unable to find the web site because it was not optimized for internet search
engines to find and properly classify the pages.
Elvan Business Technologies met with John Brooks, the owner, to understand the needs and personality of
his business. Next, we designed a custom web site for Brooks Performance around John's
goals for his business. After getting John's approval of the new design the new pages
were moved into place with minimal interruption. But our work had only begun. We
continue to work with him on a regular basis, fine-tuning the search characteristics
of the site to achieve the most accurate and best positioning in the search engines,
such as Google, Excite, and Yahoo. We have assisted John in promotional campaigns to
build his business, resulting in a 400% increase in business the first year.
To date, we have provided the following services to Brooks Performance:
- Designed a 6-panel, 2-sided bi-fold product brochure
- Designed Brooks Performance business cards
- Worked with John Brooks to formulate a customer-appreciation group
- Developed and continually enhance the web site
- Designed promotional handouts, such as calendars
- Designed promotional marketing materials for Brooks' display at the Carlisle All-Ford Nationals
Today Brooks Performance is a division of G-Force Design Concepts, LLC. G-Force Design Concepts builds
Pro-Touring street rods - cars with modern suspension, interior, and
drivetrain built on a classic muscle car. These cars highly-desirable, bringing top dollar.
G-Force was founded in 2004 by John Brooks and Jason Huber. Because of our history with John and Jason, the
web site for G-Force was actually ready before all but the earliest cars. The site does a wonderful job of
communicating the style and quality of these cars. The Brooks and GFDC sites share a common look to
communicate the relationship between the two businesses.
We continue to work with G-Force on a daily basis, helping to build the brand and market their cars
nation-wide.

SVTOA Chapters
Ford's Special Vehicle Team Owners Association has local chapters throughout
the US and Canada. The Maryland chapter, Capital Area SVTOA, was in need of a web
site which would require minimal ongoing maintenance. They wanted member forums,
an event calendar to track club events, and a place to post club news. And they
wanted members to be able to contribute site content.
Elvan Business Technologies implemented a Content Management System for Capital Area SVTOA. The look of
the site was tailored to use custom graphics and provide a unique look for the
site. The new web site has an event calendar, user forums, news articles, and photo galleries.
Pittsburgh SVTOA,
Lancaster SVTOA,
Long Island SVTOA, and
New England SVTOA
sites were later developed based on the Capital Area SVTOA implementation.

Lovettsville Dolphins Swim Team
The local swim team's old web site was well-done, but required a specific skill set to maintain. The
webmaster was stretched thin and unable to keep up with the changes required on the site. Elvan Business
Technologies deployed an Open Source content management system (CMS) that provides them with the ability
to easily post content with no special skills required, maintain an online event calendar, and support the
team through banner advertisements.

Lovettsville Boy Scout Troop 962
The local Boy Scout troop was in need of a web site where they could post event information, photos,
troop news, and contact information in a safe manner: public information for the public, and private
information only available to specific people. Elvan Business Technologies solved the problem using
an Open Source content management system (CMS) with a customized security model that allows the boys
to safely and securely manage and share content and information.
Troop 962's web site is the prototype for a distribution of PostNuke specifically built for scouting
units worldwide called ScoutSite. Elvan Business Technologies is proud to support this project.
